Geoffrey Kyle McGhee

McGhee, Geoffrey Kyle, 46 of Mechanicsville, VA. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Born August 31, 1979, to J. Burle McGhee, III and Elaine Martin McGhee, Kyle was a lifelong resident of Hanover County and a member of Gethsemane Church of Christ. He graduated from Lee-Davis High School in 1998 and James Madison University in 2002. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Burle McGhee. Surviving are his mother, Elaine McGhee; his brother, Joseph “Jay” McGhee, IV; his nephew and nieces, Nathan, Ainsleigh, and Natalie McGhee; his uncle and aunt, Marty and Suzie Martin; and a much-extended family. Graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gethsemane Church of Christ, the Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund, or a charity of your choice.
