Frances (Rich) Weigl

WEIGL, Frances Rich of Mechanicsville VA, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Joseph Weigl. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Rosa Rich; and her brother, Leonard Rich.  She is survived by three children, Bernard Weigl, Deborah Rosenthal (Seth), and Mark Weigl (Julie); and five grandchildren, Joshua Rosenthal, Brittany Rosenthal, Shawn Rosenthal (Lindsey), Aspyn Weigl, and Jett Weigl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116, with a reception to follow at the church. A private interment will be held at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Church of the Redeemer.
