LAMBERT, Elisabeth Anne –“Betty Anne” 91 of Richmond, VA went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, July 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandy Hugh Lambert, and Mary Alice Craddock Lambert, and family matriarch, Anne Virginia Lambert Fudge. She is survived by her brother, Sandy Lambert (Loma); her nephew, Mark Benjamin Lambert (Deborah); niece, E’Beth Lambert Watts (Alan), grand nephews, Benjamin Alexander Lambert Flannery and Logan Daniel Watts, and Melissa Wenner Burton (Frank) and their daughters, Jane and Ginna. Betty Anne was born in Waynesboro, VA on September 14, 1932, moving to Pensacola, FL in 1953 to live with her father and brother. She remained in Florida where she established family-like ties with Barabra E. Wenner and her Eddins family sisters, living for years with Barbara and her daughter Melissa. She attended First Presbyterian Church where she actively served in Presbyterian Women’s activities, served as an Elder, and distributed church flowers to shut-ins for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a reception to follow. A private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro beside her parents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 33 E. Gregory St., Pensacola, FL 32502, or the American Alzheimer’s Association.
