Edward "Mick" Glenn MacDougall, Jr.

MacDougall, Jr. Edward G. “Mick”- 74 of Mechanicsville, VA departed this life and is now at rest, Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Shirley MacDougall, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Gayle MacDougall; 2 beloved daughters, Maggie Bibey (Mike) and Laura McNutt (Sean); 3 cherished granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Meghan, and Abigayle; his brother, Peter MacDougall; his sister, Nancy Lucente; and many other relatives and friends. “Mick” graduated from Nasson College in Maine with a Bachelor’s in Art degree in English Literature. He was a devout music lover and enjoyed playing the guitar and making up songs for his daughters. For 5 years he managed New England’s largest resort music club, Fat City Night Club at Mt. Snow, Wilmington, Vermont. He retired from Aireco Supply Company after over 40 years of service. He enjoyed baseball and collecting baseball memorabilia. “Mick” was a fierce protector and provider for his family, whom he cherished above everything else. All services will be private. Donations in his memory can be made to your local Humane Society or the SPCA.
