Edward E Vesley

Vesley, Edward E., 91, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Vesley; and his son Edward (Eddie) Joseph Vesley. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Marano Vesley; his daughter, Kathy Vesley-Massey (Bill); his son, Daniel; a sister, Margaret V. Novelli; three stepdaughters, Robin Carlton (Al), Tammy Bland, and Mary Katherine Chamberlain (Scott); a nephew, Chris Novelli; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Ed worked for Pilot life and Jefferson Pilot insurance companies in his early career and later as an independent agent on his own. He loved his family, gardening, woodworking, and fishing. He was a very honest, kind and loyal person. He was much loved by his family and friends. His presence will be sorely missed. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11 am – 2 pm followed by a 2 pm chapel service at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA. 23111. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston Va. 23150. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Black Creek Fire and Rescue.
