BAGGETT, Edward G. “Bucky” – 82 of Mechanicsville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Taylor; his sister, Katherine Przybyla; and a nephew, Peter Przybyla. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Judith Baggett; daughter, Melinda Blevins; granddaughter, Jessie Blevins; and a brother, Gordon Banks (Meina). Bucky was a member of American Legion Post 175 and Fairfield Presbyterian Church. He was active in the second ministry Bible Study. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, golf, Little League baseball, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. His wife Judith sends him a message, “A million times I miss you, a million times I cry; If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still; in my heart you hold a special place, no other can fill.” The family will receive friends for a memorial service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Fairfield Presbyterian Church, 6930 Cold Harbor Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
