Dorothy Wallace Mathews

Mathews, Dorothy Wallace – 94, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2024. She joined her husband, Charles L. Mathews, Sr.; her parents, Willie A. Wallace, and Grace H. Wallace; sister, Mildred W. Gordon; in heaven. She is survived by her sons, Charles L. Mathews, Jr. (Stephanie), and Ronald “Ron” E. Mathews, Sr. (Teresa); grandchildren, Crystal M. Trimnal, Ronald E. Mathews, Jr. “Ronnie”, Priscilla M. Steele, and David L Mathews; and three great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 5, 2024, at Gethsemane Church of Christ, 5146 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Bible Broadcast Network at BBN, PO Box 7300, Charlotte, NC 28241.
