Donald Robert Tuttle

TUTTLE, Donald “Don” – 59 of Mechanicsville, VA peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones, Wednesday, January 18, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Tuttle, and Janet Volk. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Elaine Tuttle; his daughters, Kirstin, and Kelsey Tuttle; his son, Jake Tuttle; his bonus mom, Julia Tuttle; his siblings, Marjie Graf (Bill), Father Patrick Tuttle O.F.M., Julia Horan, Ellen Curtin, and Margaret Tuttle (Bill Hodge); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Don proudly served his country as a US Marine. He was an avid car enthusiast, consummate businessman, keeper of the peace, and the king of the smart home. He loved animals, especially his dog Macey. Don had an excellent sense of humor and was particularly fond of his “dad jokes”. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother, and will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
