DUFF, Donald “Stuart” – 85 of Mechanicsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Inez Turner Duff; and six siblings, Bubba, Jimmy, Pete, Marrian, Faye, and Tootsie. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sandra Bishop Duff; two daughters, Tammy Paul (Richard) and Kelley Brooks (Larry); two step-sons, Eugene Bishop and Keith Bishop (Donna); five granddaughters, Sara Parker (Ben), Lauren Barnes (Graham), Emily Butler (Jason), Taylor Ellis (Brody), and Megan Courter (Robbie); five great-grandchildren; his sister, Bobbie Hensley (Lee); and many other relatives and friends.
Stuart proudly served his country in the US Navy. He retired from Cardwell Machine Company after over 30 years of faithful service. He loved woodworking and refurbishing antique cars. He was very talented and there was nothing he couldn’t do and his workmanship was flawless. He enjoyed spending time with his family and trips to Myrtle Beach. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A private interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
