Deborah Jeanne (Justice) Holt

HOLT, Deborah Jeanne; gained her angels wings, June 7, 2020. She is welcomed in heaven by all of her grandparents. Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, John Holt (Pop Pop); her daughter, Berkeley Maxey  and her husband Matthew; Her biggest pride and joys, her grandchildren, Ava and Chase Maxey; three step-children, Stephan, Emily and Johnny; her mother, Patricia Justice, her father, Bob Justice (Da) and step mother, Susan Justice; two sisters, Teresa and Pamela; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Deborah was the life of the room with her big, bright, contagious smile. She never knew a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. Her greatest accomplishments were being the best wife, mother, daughter, and the greatest grandmother (Mona/Monka) of all. She was so incredibly proud of her babies! Deborah was a West End native. She was born on February 3, 1968, where her wild and loving journey all began. Deborah was a Freeman Rebel graduate. She loved the outdoors, camping, going to the beach, gardening, and working in the yard. She was a huge Redskins and Nationals fan and would do her best to convert you over if she could. Her greatest passion was spending time with her beloved family. She loved animals, and always worried more about others than herself. She lived to make others happy. Deborah was truly one of a kind, very free- spirited, loved to have a good time and live in the moment. If you came to visit her you had to be ready for anything because you never knew what she would get y’all into. If you had to sum up this incredible woman into one word, it would have to be “Fabulous”! She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life from 3 – 7 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A brief Memorial Service will be held at 5 pm. Refreshments will be served, and the family asks all to come as they are, as Deborah would say, it’s a party, be comfortable.
