David Franklin Wrenn

Mr. David Franklin Wrenn, age 81, of Mechanicsville, passed away Sunday evening, January 18, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1944, to Benjamin F. Wrenn and Verna McGuriman. David is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Wrenn; his son, Jonathan Wrenn (Jessica); his daughter, Julie Wrenn; and his granddaughter, Ellaina Bendinskis.

David was a devoted member of Grace Christian Church, where he served as an elder, member of the choir, and in any other ministry that needed him. He enjoyed fellowship around the kitchen table with the ones he loved. He will be remembered for his kind heart, good conversation, and concern for family and friends. David should also be remembered for his love of music, playing his guitar, and “musical get-togethers” in his earlier years.  

A celebration of life will be held on February 7, 2026, at 1 pm at Grace Christian Church with a reception following.
