Curt Ralph Wright

WRIGHT, Curt R. 64, of King William, VA went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer R. Wright, and Michelle Goins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Bonnie Rogers Wright; three brothers, Keith Goins, Jeffery Wright (Natalie), and Patrick Wright (Joy); two sisters, Patricia Wright Birdseye and Phyllis Conley (Rick); and his beloved fur baby and best friend, Bart. Curt retired from the US Army after 25 years of service. He had a passion for vintage cars and car shows in which he often entered his 1980 El Camino and won several trophies. Curt had a great voice and loved singing Karaoke, especially Elvis songs because he sounded just like him. He loved the beach and taking day trips with his beloved Bonnie. They enjoyed exploring new places and trying out new restaurants together. Curt adored his inseparable buddy Bart as they were like two peas in a pod. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 4 – 7 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 US Ave., Culpeper, VA 22701.
