Cornelia Ann (Shumaker) Long

Long, Cornelia - 81, of Highland Spring, VA, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Long; her son, Edmond Brammer; her parents, Edmond Shumaker and Audrey Shumaker; and her brother, John Edmond Shumaker. She is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Brammer; her grandsons, Dustin, Cody, and Mikey; her granddaughter, Nikki; her sisters, Edna Earle Sargent and Audrey Ellsworth Nelson; and her brother, James Stephen Shumaker.

 Cornelia loved traveling on the road as she was not the kind of woman who wanted to sit around all day doing nothing. She enjoyed listening to music on her travels, especially country music. When she was home, she enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, Law and Order. She was always loving and supportive of her friends and family.

 A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238.
