Cora (Fenne) Mowatt

MOWATT, Cora Fenne- 90 of Mechanicsville, VA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Andrew Mowatt; her parents, Eric and Mary Fenne; two sisters, Ruth Owen and Martha Fenne; and four brothers, Irwin, Robert, John, and Thomas Fenne. She is survived by her son, David Mowatt; her sister, Dorothy Fenne Bosher (Gerald); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cora was a registered nurse for over 45 years. She enjoyed cooking and making ceramics. She was kind and loving and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org, or ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
