Brenda Sharon (Cecil) Gray

GRAY, Brenda Sharon; 71, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away, Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Bill Gray; and her parents, Geraldine, and James Cecil. Brenda is survived by her children, Tamra Howard (Tom), Shawn Gray, and Lance Gray (Ashley); 6 grandchildren, Jordan, Chance, Landyn, Graysen, Tinsley, and Lainey; 2 brothers, Ron Cecil (Susie) and Dana Cecil (Susan); and her fur babies Fancy and Cesar. Brenda was a hairdresser for over 50 years and the proud owner of Shape-Up Hairstyling. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her time spent with her family. She was always there for every event in her children’s lives, big or small. She never missed a game, play, pageant, or school event. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
