Brandon Wayne Lucas

LUCAS, Brandon Wayne, 25, of Mechanicsville, VA, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born April 13, 1997 in Nash County. Brandon was the most fun-loving young man. Never met a stranger and had a contagious smile and the biggest full of love hugs for everyone. He loved to fish, hunt and sit out by a bonfire with family and friends. He was always adventurous and enjoyed working on cars. Brandon loved being outdoors doing just about anything. He loved and will be missed by his dog Creed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Barbara Ann Chadwick Heintz and paternal grandparents Kermit Van Lucas and Darlene Pittman. He leaves behind his parents Kermit Wayne and Shannon Marie Lucas; sisters Kayla Holsinger (Brandon), Elizabeth and Lacey Lucas; nieces Aubrey and Alaina Holsinger; nephews Ryley Gray and Silas Elsayed. A visitation will be held at 2:30pm-3:45pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1052 S. 1st Street, Nashville, NC 27856, with the service following at 4:00pm with Sammy Moss officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Monaghan Funeral Home for caring for Brandon in Virginia and arranging for his transportation home.
