Berkley Broache

BROACHE, Berkley 89 of Mechanicsville, VA passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen N. Broache; his parents, Walter and Ruth Broache: brothers, Raymond and Randolph Broache; sisters, Evelyn Amato, Jean Dagenhart, and Judith Broache; and his son-in-law, Scott Wood. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Wood; son, David Broache (Cindy); and his beloved grandchildren, Hunter and Kaitlyn Wood. Berkley proudly served his country in the US Army Security Agency during the Korean War. He was a simple man who loved his family and gardening. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 11 am – 12 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A graveside service will follow at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 7046 Cold Harbor Rd. Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
