Barry Baxter Gimbert

GIMBERT, Barry B. – 78, of Richmond, VA entered his heavenly home, Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia, and OB; his sister, Pat; and his brother Craig. Barry is survived by his beloved wife, of 44 years, Sandra; his daughters, Karen, Tammy, and Shelley; his sons, Greg, and Joey; his granddaughters, Brigitte, Lauren, and Lily; and his grandsons, EJ, Michael, Gabe and Toby. Barry was a US Army, 82nd Airborne Veteran. He retired from the food service industry as a sales account manager. Barry was a corvette enthusiast, but his greatest passion was time spent with his family. He was a loving and giving, husband, father, and grandfather. A private memorial service will be held at Monaghan Funeral Home, followed by an Interment at Washington Memorial Park. Guests are welcome to attend the graveside service at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021. Covid 19 precautions (masks and social distancing) are required. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
