Arnie (Hutto) Streeter

Streeter, Arnie Hutto, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, formerly of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 102. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Clifford Streeter; daughter, Alice Jane Streeter; siblings, M.C., Phillip, Cornelia, and Pat.  She is survived by her son, Raymond Stanley Streeter and daughter-in-law Mary Beth; her sister, Annie Lee Frazier of South Carolina; grandchildren, Gregory Streeter (Michelle), Victoria Houston (Troy), and Nathaniel Streeter; and her great-grandchildren, Wesley, Hailey, and Mila. Arnie will be remembered for her love of gardening, shopping for yarn with her daughter to crochet, her spit-fire attitude, and taking care of her family tirelessly. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many people who cared for her in the last few years, especially Mechanicsville Medical Center (Dr. John Cornett), Care Advantage, and Intrepid Hospice. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. A private graveside service will be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Stanley.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hanover Fire EMS.
