Annie Newton Obituary

NEWTON, Annie; 88, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Victor; her husband, Charlie; and a daughter, Sandy. She is survived by her son Charles A. Newton; a granddaughter, Lisa Denton; a grandson, Nicholas Newton; and five great- grandchildren. Annie retired from the Virginia Department of taxation. She loved taking care of her flowers and plants, reading the paper, and people magazine. A graveside service will be held, 3 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Upper King & Queen Baptist Church, 1693 Bradley Farm Rd., Newtown, VA 23126. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
