Anne Marie (Lamb) Link

LINK, Anne Marie, 87, or Mechanicsville, VA peacefully passed away, Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, William Link; her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Anne is survived by her devoted son, William Christopher Link (Patrice); 5 grandchildren, Sean (Samantha), Gretchen (Matt), Curtis, Ashley (Corey), and Adam; 5 great-grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, Ella, Quinn, and Lukas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Anne was born in Richmond, VA. She was a founding member of the Catholic Church of the Redeemer in Mechanicsville, where she formed many cherished and lasting friendships. In particular, the German lady she asked to sit next to in the early years of the church, who became her best friend until the very end. Liesel Pusey and Anne prayed together, traveled together, and even worked together at one point. They had a deep and remarkable friendship that stood the test of time. Anne was a devout lady with a strong faith, and she will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 5 -7 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A funeral mass will be held,  10 am, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer,  8275 Meadowbridge Rd. Mechanicsville, VA 23116.  A private interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Church or the Redeemer.
