Alana J. May

MAY, Alana J. 70 of Aylett, VA departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Betty Curry; her daughter, Monica May; grandson, Ethan May; grandmother, Eva Curry; and a nephew, Little Allan. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Billy May, Jr.; her sons, Nathan May (Jennifer) and Logan May (Dina); her grandchildren, Heidi, Arabella, Jenson, and Elysia May; a brother, Allan Curry; and many other relatives and friends. Alana enjoyed crafting, yard sales, the mountains and the beach. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 11 am – 12 pm, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111 with a funeral service and brief reception to follow at noon. Interment will be held at 2 pm, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA 23238. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude.
