Agnes (Dabney) Seay

SEAY, Agnes D. 84, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Seay, and her parents, Andrew Dabney and Katherine and James Carter. She is survived by her children, Linda Seay, Donna Seay, and Mike Seay (Elaine); grandchildren, Tommy Seay (Delanie), and Bryan Seay; loving lifelong friends, Charles and Gloria Blackwell; and many other family and friends. Agnes was a devoted stay-at-home mom who was always very actively involved with her children. She was a person who loved to hug. She was a long-time member of Fairmount Memorial Baptist Church, where she was very active and took on many different roles within the church over the years. She was currently a member of Shalom Baptist Church where she had made many new friends. Agnes was dearly loved by her family and will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband in our Heavenly Father’s kingdom. They have always and will forever love her and cherish her memory. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, December 20, 2024, with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
