William Dobson

DOBSON, William “Bill”, 59, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 13, 2018, after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and graduated from Cape Fear High School and Fayetteville Technical Community College. Bill could fix about anything and was always willing to lend a hand. These 2 gifts were greatly appreciated by his workplace, Micro Technology, Inc; his church, and his family and friends. He had a down-to-earth sense of humor that put people at ease and a wonderful way of bringing out the best in those around him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Alpha Dobson. Left to honor Bill and remember his love are his wife, Robbie Dobson; his son Jack and daughter Sarah. He is survived by his sister Edith (Glenn) Alphin, his brother Grady (Linda) Dobson, as well as, many extended family. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be at Fairfield Presbyterian Church, 6930 Cold Harbor Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, at 1pm on Monday, April 23, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “The Memorial Garden Fund” at Fairfield Presbyterian Church.
