Lisa (Barlow) Monaghan

MONAGHAN, Lisa Barlow, 52, of Hanover, VA passed away, Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, John Barlow. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Stephen “BeBe” Monaghan; her beloved daughter, Chandler Rose Monaghan; her mother, Jean Barlow; a sister, Kimberly Durland (Michael); nieces, Wren Durham (Chad), and Morgan Diepold (Jeff); and her precious fur-baby Clementine. Lisa was a wonderful wife and mother. She was selfless and always put others before herself. She enjoyed cooking and time at the beach. Lisa worked for Verizon for many years and was currently employed by Wilson Mechanical. The family will receive friends from 12- 2 pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local SPCA or to the charity of your choice.
