Kyle M. Simon, Sr.

SIMON, Sr., Kyle M.; 24, of Mechanicsville, VA, departed this life, Friday, March 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry Simon, Sr. and Judy Hailey. Kyle is survived by his beloved son, KJ Simon; mother, Deborah Granger (Mark); father, Jerry Simon, Jr.; brother and best friend, Dylan Simon; grandparents; Vivian Simon, Linda Simon, and James Hailey; uncles, Ricky Hailey (Pam), Kenny Simon (Kelly), and RT Simon (Lillian); aunts, Joy Hazlegrove and Nicole Sawulski (Jeff); cousins, Cara, Nick, Brandon, Noah, Conner, and Thomas; and many other family and friends. Kyle loved working with his hands and had a passion for landscaping. He was a hard worker and an avid body builder. He spent countless hours in the gym working hard to not only be good looking but healthy and physically fit. His strength and endurance allowed him to be a volunteer recruit trainer for the Marine corp. He enjoyed challenging new recruits to push themselves to become the best they could be. Kyle loved the beach and enjoyed many vacations there. He was a handsome guy, with a bright smile and the biggest heart! He was always the first one to volunteer to help others in need. He deeply loved his family but his beautiful son, KJ was the light of his life. The family will host a private celebration of life at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy.
