Kurt Kenneth Richey

RICHEY, Kurt Kenneth; 39, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Richey; maternal grandmother, Mickey Foor; grandfather-in-law, James Egan; and his ex-wife, Christy, who was the mother of his oldest 2 children. Kurt is survived by his wife, Megan Richey; 3 children, Isabella, Caleb and Micah; his parents, Susan and Ronald Parker; brother, Jason Richey; step-sisters, Kelly Carson (Rich) and Julie Miller (Anthony); Grandfather, Robert Foor; loving uncles, Thomas Foor (Kathy), Steven Foor (Sharon), Terry Foor (Margaret); brother-in-law, Chip Pabst; mother-in-law, Susan Call (Ben), father-in-law, Donald Pabst (Kim); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kurt loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, boating, animals, and especially enjoyed cooking on the grill. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Redskins fan. His greatest joy came from his time spent with his children and other family. The family will receive friends, Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 1 – 4 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Memorial Service will be held, 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 12, 2020, at New Song United Methodist Church, 7450 Colts Neck Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
