Kristin Marie Hayes

HAYES, Kristin Marie; 30, of Varina, VA peacefully went home, Tuesday, October 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Hayes; maternal grandparents, Alice Marie Jordan (GMAR) and Ray Jordan; paternal grandfather, Joseph Hayes; and her aunt, Marie Shiflet. Kristin is survived by her beloved daughter, Kyleigh Hayes; mother, Cheryl Jordan; step-father, Richard Pleasants; sister, Jamie Hayes; paternal grandmother, Carmela Hayes; step siblings, Kimberly Lewis, Richard Pleasants, Jr.; niece, Yulissa Perez; cousin, Debbie Brown; best friend, Petra Cranston; her beloved dog, Goldie; and many other cherished family and friends. Kristin was extremely creative. She enjoyed spending her time at “the rocks”, cooking for others, hula hooping, painting and tie-dying with children and friends. She was a free spirit with a huge heart. She would give anything she had to help others. Kristin could always make you laugh with her quick wit. She was always chasing rainbows. The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life, Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 2 – 4 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chesterfield County HARP program.
