WINFREE, Iva Marie, 90, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Hugo Maters and siblings, Cora M. Jones and Richard A. Maters. Iva is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Milton “Mickey”; three sons, Michael, Steven (Joy), and Mark (Sandra); sister Shirl Keiser; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Michael (Kathryn), and Ashley; and 1 great-granddaughter, Sydney. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the loving care provided by Heritage Green staff during the final years of Iva’s life. The family will receive friends, Monday, May 21, 2018 from 4-6 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111, followed immediately at 6 pm by a family prayer. The family also invites their guests to stay for an hour of fellowship and refreshments from 6-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
