Hester Ann "Dolly" Johnson

JOHNSON, Hester Ann (Dolly), 89, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband John Lewis Johnson Sr. and a son, Lewis Wayne Johnson. Dolly is survived by her son, John L. Johnson “Bubba” (Mary Ann) of Mechanicsville; 4 grandchildren, Nathan (Antonia), Monica (Carl), Michelle (Jamison) and Andrew; 6 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Clayton, Sharon, Luna, Bryce and Huck. Dolly retired form American Tobacco Company. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of the river, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and eating crabs. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
