Carolyn "Khaki" Purvis

Purvis, Carolyn “Khaki”, 83, of Mechanicsville, VA departed this life, January 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband Lou; her daughter Gwen; her great-grandson, Braxton; and her parents, Henry Frances and Reba Jernigan.She leaves behind two sons, Chip and Kevin Purvis; six grandchildren; Amanda, Nicole, Nickolas,  Geoff, Allison, and Melissa;  six great-grandchildren, Aubrey, J.D., Brock, Lauryn, Kaylee, and Billie;  a brother, Ray Jernigan and a sister Annette Shumaker. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 4pm to 6pm at Monaghan Funeral Home 7300 Creighton Pkwy 23111.
