Barbara Lou (Stump) Poole

POOLE, Barbara L. 69, of Mechanicville, VA went to be with he Lord, Tuesday, December  25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorris and Marie (Fehr) Stump; and a sister, Bessie Clay. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, James L. Poole; her son, Wesley James Poole (Laura), grandchildren, Abby, Isaac, Emma and Olivia; brothers, Dorris Stump Jr. (Marion), and Frank Stump (Marsha). Barbara retired from the Henrico County Managers office. She also served for a long time in the Henrico Christmas Mother program. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will be held, at 2 pm with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
