Ann Renee Richeson

RICHESON, Ann Renee, 52, of Mechanicsville, passed away, Friday, May 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, James Richeson. Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond Wright Jr.; a step-son Martin Wright; her mother,Mary Frances Richeson and step-father Roger Williams; brother Mark Richeson (Joey); and her nephew, Randy Richeson. Ann was born in Fairfax, VA, but due to her father’s job they moved many times including to New Jersey and California; finally settling in Chesterfield County, VA in 1972 where she eventually graduated from Monacan High School. Ann had a love of flowers and from the age of 12 worked in her parents floral shop, Rose Bud Florist. Over the years, Ann was also employed at Petals and Bows, Strange’s Florist, and was employed with Coleman Brothers at the time of her passing. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Fairmount Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
