TRIMBACH, Agnes Magdeline, 91, formerly of Mechanicsville, passed to her reward on Wednesday evening, September 5, 2018 at her home at Little Sisters
of the Poor. She was born on June 4, 1927 in Windber, Pennsylvania, to John and Barbara (Hudachko) (Lepko) Gavalchik; immigrants from what is now the Slovak
Republic. She was preceded in death by husbands, Carlton E. Pollock, Benjamin F. Marsh and Robert L. Trimbach; two half-brothers; one half-sister; 3 sisters,
and 3 brothers. She is survived by her children, Michael E. Pollock, and Barbara C. Henderson; son-in-law Robert Henderson; and grandsons Jeffery (wife Jessica) and Jason (wife Brittany); sister, Barbara Hile; numerous step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren; as well as friends in the congregations of Church of the Redeemer (of Mechanicsville, which she joined in
1989), and St. Charles Borremeo (Cape Charles); and also from her past residences in Northampton County, Virginia, and Rockville, Maryland. She was known for always putting others in need of help ahead of herself, for being a prolific crafter, a gracious host, and as the glue which helped to hold together an extended family dispersed between Arkansas, California,
Florida, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia; and hosting family reunions on multiple occasions. As per her wishes, no formal services will be held. A reception at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 am. Online condolences can be left at www.monaghanfunerals.com.
