Gayle Lynn (Martin) Sharpe

SHARPE, Gayle Lynn; 43, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord, her mama, Debra Smith and nanny, Margaret Edwards, on Friday, May 15, 2020. She is survived by her father, Thomas Martin; the father of her children, Kenny Sharpe; fiancé, Rickie King; 8 children, Kenneth Sharpe Jr., Elizabeth Cauthorne (Justin), Tiffany Cottrell, Kayla Sharpe, Brandon Sharpe, Tamara Sharpe, Matthew Sharpe, and Rickie King III; 9 grandchildren, Mariah, Faith, Hunter, Abi, Hayden, Josiah, Grace, Sariyah, and Nathan. Gayle loved the beach and the mountains. She had a huge heart and never met a stranger. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and became a 2nd mother to all her children’s friends. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends to celebrate her life, Friday, May 22, 2020 from 6- 8 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
