Ella Kay (Wilson) Jaynes

Jaynes, Ella Kate “Kay”; 85, A native of Newport News, VA. went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 19, 2020.  She is survived by her six children; Robert Wilson, Debbie Clarke, Patricia Snow, Linda Rivers, Phillip Arnold, and John Arnold; along with 13 grandchildren, several great - grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She was a sweet natured lady who was kind to everyone she met and loved a good laugh.  Ella was an avid gardener, who loved being outside tending to her flowers.  She was a talented artist, who loved to draw and had a passion for music and singing. The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 26, 2020 from  11 am -12 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 where a Memorial Service will be held at noon, with a reception to follow in the funeral home lounge.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or The American Cancer Society.
