SMITH, Anne Renard; 85, of Burgess, VA passed away, Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Leonard Roy Smith; and her sisters, Mary Renard and Louise Renard Berglund. Anne is survived by her devoted children, Cathy Kauffman (Ken), Mark Smith (Vivian), David Smith (Anne), Karen Thomas, and Michelle Bellinger (Matt); 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Father Eugene Renard, SJ; and her sister, Sister Betty Renard, RSCJ. Anne was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, was an avid knitter, and an award-winning artist. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
