William Michael Elliott

ELLIOTT, William M. “Bill”, 92, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce S. Elliott. Bill is survived by his son Michael S. Elliott and his granddaughter Kathleen E. Fleck (Dean). Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Bill was a retired automobile salesman, a longtime member of the VFW Post 9808 and the American Legion Post 175. He was also a member of the Hanover Ruritan Club. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Monday, August 6, 2018, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway Mechanicsville, VA 23111 where funeral services will also be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
