BRUCE, Charles, Jr. - 77, of Caroline County, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 19, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan H. Bruce; son, Chuck Bruce (Sibyl); brother, Bobby Bruce (Wanda); sister-in-law, Judy Clayton (Benji); dear friends, Gloria and Waylon Mangum, James Enroughty, and a host of family and friends. Charles retired from the Richmond Times Dispatch after 44 years of service. He loved hot-rod cars, tinkering with his old truck, and going to cruise-ins. At Charlie’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. His ashes will be spread by his family in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
