Diane (Peace) Garrett

GARRETT, Diane P., 72, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Peace, Sr., and Helen Peace. She is survived by her husband, David M. Garrett; her son, David Sean Garrett; her daughter-in-law, Andrea Garrett; her grandchildren, Ian and Nora Garrett; her sisters, Cheryl Sauls and Kim Martin; her brother, James Peace, Jr; her nieces, Alethea White-Previs, Tomeka Peace, Lindsay Hobson, Brooke McKenzie, and Ashley Erin; and her nephews, Bryan Garrett, Christopher McDonald, Eric McDonald, and Shawn Peace. Diane was a member of and attended Mechanicsville Christian Center. She loved the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and family the most. Whether it would be trips to the beach or having the family over for dinners and holidays, Diane’s life revolved around family. She loved all the women in her women’s group. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Mechanicsville Christian Center, 8061 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the celebration of life service will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be no interment.
